Sikh pilgrimage tour Pakistan is a spiritual journey to purify one’s soul and submit themselves to their God. Tour Plans

Day – 1 ARRIVAL DAY IN LAHORE-PAKISTAN:

Arrival at Lahore Airport, your guide will meet you at the airport then transfer you to the hotel, afternoon Lunch at local restaurant then visit at Gurdawara Dera Sahib and an Orientation tour of the city of Lahore. Gurdwara Dera Sahib is a Sikh temple in Lahore, Pakistan, which commemorates the spot where the 5th Guru of Sikhism, Guru Arjan Dev, died in 1606. Lahore is the Capital City of the Pakistani province of Punjab, and is the country’s second most populous city after Karachi. The city is located in the north-eastern end of Pakistan’s Punjab province. Lahore is the historic cultural center of the Punjab region, and is one of the Pakistan’s most socially liberal, progressive and cosmopolitan cities.

Day – 2 VISIT – WAGHA BORDER & GURDWARAS IN LAHORE:

After breakfast you will head toward the the Wagah or wagah Border. Wagah town is famous for the Wagah border ceremony and also serves as a good transit terminal and a station between Pakistan and India. Wagah is situated 600 meters west of the border and lies on the historic Grand Trunk Road between Lahore and Amritsar in India. The border is located 24 Kilometres from Lahore and 32 Kilometres from Amritsar.

Day – 3 VISIT -NANKANA SAHIB:

Today you will have a day visit to Nankana Sahib, Gurdwara Janam Asthan of Guru Nanak Dev Jee. Nankana Sahib is a city and capital of Nankana Sahib District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is located about 80 km (50 mi) west of Lahore. It is named after the first Guru of the Sikhs, Guru Nanak, who was born in the city and first began preaching here. Today it is a city of high historic and religious value and a popular pilgrimage site for Sikhs from all over the world. Gurdwara Janam Asthan, also referred to as Gurdwara Nankana Sahib, is a highly revered gurdwara that was built at the site where the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak, was believed to be born. The shrine is located in the city of Nankana Sahib, near the city of Lahore in the Pakistani province of Punjab. After visit NANKANA SAHIB transfer to Gurdwara Sacha Sauda. Gurdwara Sachcha Sauda is situated at a distance of 37 miles from Lahore.

Day – 4 VISIT -KARTARPUR SAHIB:

Today you will head to KARTARPUR. Kartarpur is located in the tehsil Shakargarh, Narowal District in Punjab, Pakistan, on the right bank of the Ravi River. It is said to have been founded by the first guru of Sikhism, Guru Nanak, where he established the first Sikh commune. Kartarpur is close to the India-Pakistan border. The first guru of Sikhism, Guru Nanak, founded Khartarpur in 1504 AD on the right bank of the Ravi River. The name Kartarpur means “place of God”. Here all people, irrespective of their religion or caste, lived together, representing the first ‘Sikh commune’. After his travels for about 20 years, Guru Nanak settled in Kartarpur along with his family. At the location Gurun Nanak is believed to have died, the Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib was built.

Day – 5 VISIT – ISLAMABAD, 3 HOURS:

After breakfast you will travel to Islamabad. En-route stop at Eiman Abad to visit Gurdawara Rohri Sahib and Chakki Sahib. Gurdwara Rori Sahib  is located 2 Kilometres south-east of present-day Eminabad. Eimanabad, an old town is about 5.5 Kilometers north of Lahore. This area has three important historical shrines of Sikhs – Gurdwara Rori Sahib, Gurdwara Chakki Sahib and Gurdwara Khuhi Bhai Lalo.

Day – 6 VISIT – PANJA SAHIB:

Today is another important day of your Pilgrimage tour in Pakistan. Departure for Gurdwara Panja Sahib. Gurdwara Panja Sahib is a famous gurdwara located in Hassan Abdal, Pakistan. The shrine is considered to be particular important as the handprint of the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak, is believed to be imprinted on a boulder at the gurdwara.

Day – 7 DEPARTURE DAY-FLY BACK HOME:

Today is the last day of our “Sikh pilgrimage tour Pakistan”. After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
